a. The SteelSquad Rewards Program (the “Program”) is a loyalty reward program offered by SteelSeries ApS (the “Company”, “us”, “our” or “we”) to certain customers of the Company. The Program is accessible through https://www.steelseries.com (the “Program Website”) and any other related sites and applications referred to on the Program Website including without limitation https://www.steelseries.com/rewards (the “Explainer Page”).
The Program allows persons who have completed the membership enrolment steps (each, a “Program Member” or “Member”) in accordance with the present Terms and Conditions to collect points when making purchases of items and performing online activities identified from time to time by the Company (“Eligible Purchases”), and to redeem these points for rewards, benefits and/or rebates offered by the Company from time to time.
Members acquire no vested or accrued right or entitlement to the continued availability of any particular reward, benefit, redemption or membership level. SteelSeries ApS reserves the right to revoke, terminate, suspend or modify the Program and any and all rewards, benefits, points, redemptions or levels related thereto in its sole discretion with no prior notice.
a. The terms and conditions set forth herein (the “Terms & Conditions”, and together with any terms set forth on the Program Website, the Explainer Page and any other terms accessible through any of the foregoing, collectively the “Program Terms”) govern the Program. The Company in its sole discretion can restrict, suspend, amend, extend or otherwise alter the Program Terms at any time and without prior notice. If the Program Terms have been updated, the Company will post the new Program Terms on the Program Website and note the date that they were last updated, and no change will be effective until such change has been posted for at least ten (10) days. We encourage Members to review the Program Terms each time they use the Program.
a. Free membership
In order to be eligible for the Program you bust be located within the United Kingdom and create an account as outlined in these Terms and Conditions. If you choose to create an account.
c. Account security
In order to enroll in the Program, you will have to register and create an Account with us and provide one or more names, email addresses, login usernames and passwords (together, “ID”). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your ID. You agree not to use the ID of any third party or disclose your ID to any third party. You are responsible for any and all activity that occurs on your Account. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your Account, you must notify us immediately. You agree to provide us with correct and complete Account information at all times and inform us of any changes to the information you have provided. We will keep your ID confidential. We are not liable for any unauthorized access to your account that is not occasioned by the activities of SteelSeries. You may only have one member account per natural person. Persons who are discovered to have more than one account forfeit their points and will be unsubscribed from the Program.
d. How to enroll
Visit https://www.steelseries.com/rewards and become a registered user of the Program by hitting ‘Join Now’. If you already have an account on SteelSeries.com you can activate your membership through your user dashboard. You will be asked for your first and last name, your email address, and a password. Signing up automatically subscribes you to our newsletter list, from which you have the option to opt out at anytime. Once you have submitted the requisite information, you will be sent an email to the address you listed confirming your membership.
e. How to access or change member information
You must keep your personal information on your Account up-to-date. To do so, click on the "Log in" button in the main navigation and access your account by entering your registered email address and current password. From your dashboard you can access your account information; review your current and past orders; change your profile; manage your subscriptions and applications; and access your previous purchases.
f. How to cancel membership
You may cancel account at any time. To cancel your account, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and write “cancel membership” in the subject line. The email must come from the account currently listed on our servers as being associated with your Program Account. If you no longer have access to that email address, please email us at the beforementioned address and we will verify your status and cancel your account. Upon cancellation, you are no longer a member and any unused points accrued in your account will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed. Points maintain their value only on valid accounts in good standing, and except as otherwise provided here for redemption, have no cash value outside of their redemption value on the Site.
g. Suspension rights
If we determine that a Program Member has abused any of the Program’s privileges, fails to comply with any of the Program Terms, or makes any misrepresentation to the Company, the Company may, in its sole discretion, take such actions as it deems appropriate, including without limitation, suspending such Member’s privileges under the Program, revoking any or all of the points in such Program Member’s Account, and/or revoking the Program Member’s membership in the Program, in each case, with or without advance notice to the Member and without liability to the Company.
Points will not be awarded if in the Company’s reasonable opinion the merchandise purchased will be used for resale or commercial use and any points awarded on such purchases will be forfeited. If a Member was awarded points for an offer or promotion in which a Member purchased product(s) in excess of reasonable quantities, the points awarded as a result of that offer or promotion may be forfeited without prior notice and the Account may be suspended or closed.
Unless further restricted elsewhere in the Program Terms, Membership is only available to individuals above the age of majority and who have legal capacity. If a Member does not meet the capacity requirements set out above, all points awarded to such Member may be forfeited without prior notice and the Account may be suspended or closed.
h. Membership tiers and expiration
The program includes 3 membership tiers that each come with their own set of perks and added rewards as specified on the Explainer Page. Each tier and their accompanying benefits are unlocked based on the spending on product purchases of the Member on steelseries.com in a period of 365 days as follows:
The period of which a Member can unlock a new membership tier starts from the first day the Member joins the program and resets every 365 days from there on.
For other currencies such as GBP, DKK, NOK, SEK, CAD we use a current, mid-market exchange rate to convert your alternate currency into USD after which we determine your Membership tier. As an example: A Member places an order of £250 GBP and the current, mid-market exchange rate is £0,8 GBP per $1 USD. This member's product spending would then come out to 250 / 0.8 = $312,5 qualifying them to the Mech membership tier 2.
a. General way to earn points
Points (also referred to as ‘Vanadium’) can be earned by Program Members in connection with purchases of products made through http://www.steelseries.com as set forth on the Explainer Page, regardless of method of payment, provided that the Member was logged in with their Program Account during purchase.
If this was a first time purchase a new Member may retroactively claim points on purchases up to 1 month prior to date of joining. As an example: If a person places and order for $100 and doesn’t join the Program during the checkout process, this person may still choose to join the program 2 weeks later and receive 100 points upon becoming a Program Member because this order is still within the 1 month period.
b. Earning rate
Members in the ‘Sentry’ Tier will earn 1 points for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases (in other words, one (1) points for every one dollar ($1) spent.
‘Mech’ Tier will earn 2 points for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases and Platinum Tier will earn 3 points for every $1 spent on qualifying purchase.
The Member must be logged into the website to earn points. Points are based on the order subtotal, after any discounts, only.
Points are rounded down to the nearest whole number. For example, if you spend $9.99, you will receive 9 points. Calculation is as follows: $9.99 x 1 points per dollar = 9.99 points, which is rounded down to 9 points.
For other currencies such as GBP, DKK, NOK, SEK, CAD we use a current, mid-market exchange rate to convert your alternate currency into USD after which we calculate your earned points. As an example: A Mech level Member with a 2x point multiplier places an order of £100 GBP and the current, mid-market exchange rate is £0,8 GBP per $1 USD. This member would then get 100 / 0.8 = 125 * 2 = 250 points.
c. How to earn points
Points will be added to your Account under the following conditions, and will generally show up immediately. For points related to a Friend Referral reward, you may see a delay of 2 working days due to order processing time.

Note that for these activities, including “bonus actions” and other point promotions, points may show as “pending,” depending upon the activity.
Members earn points only on the purchase price of qualifying online products on steelseries.com. Calculation of points excludes payment by the Member for shipping charges. Points will not be earned on any discounts or other credits offered in connection with a product or service. For example, if a product that is normally $100 is on sale for $75, a Member will only earn points on the purchase price of $75. Redemption of vouchers, and any type of price adjustments, including returns, are not eligible for points. All purchases made: (i) by a Member prior to such member joining the Program, (ii) Online without a Member being logged onto the Website, are only valid if they happened 1 month prior to the Member joining the Program. All orders older than 1 month are not eligible for any point credit. Any purchases made of SteelSeries products outside of SteelSeries.com are not valid for point accrual (this includes, but is not limited to Amazon, Besbuy and GAME). Employees of SteelSeries are not eligible to participate in the Program.
d. Returns/order cancellations
Points earned for a purchase that is then the subject of a return, cancellation or declined credit card will be deducted from the Member’s account in an amount equal to the points earned for the original transaction.
The points value of rewards used on an order, that is later cancelled or returned, will be transferred back to the Member’s account and may be used again for new reward redemptions.
e. Bonus action promotions
From time to time, SteelSeries may run certain bonus action promotions. Under bonus action promotions, Members can earn additional points in connection with the purchase of certain online products or completing certain online activities. When you purchase these specially marked products, complete one of these actions, or make the purchase during a bonus points time period, you will earn additional points as specified in the offer. Bonus action promotions are subject to the terms and conditions of the offer and may be offered at any time in SteelSeries’ sole discretion.
g. Limitations on Points
If you redeem points towards the purchase of a product and pay a portion of the retail price after the point's redemption, you will receive points only on the leftover retail amount you pay, and not on any value attributed to the point you used. If you redeem points towards the purchase of a product in an amount equal to the full price of the product, you will not earn any points. As an example: If a Member purchases a $100 product and applies a $25 off rewards coupon to the order, the Member will receive 75 points ($75 * 1 = 75).
h. Points value
Points have no cash value and are not exchangeable for cash. The accumulation of points does not entitle the Program Members to any vested rights, and the Company does not guarantee in any way the continued availability of any reward, redemption level, rebate or any other benefit. The Company assumes no liability to Members as regards the addition or deletion of items from or for which points can be collected and/or redeemed.
Points cannot be assigned, exchanged, traded, bartered, purchased or given by gift or otherwise sold. Any points so acquired are void. For the avoidance of doubt, such prohibited transfers include transfers upon operation or law upon the death of a Member. Points are nonredeemable for cash, are nonrefundable.
a. How to use points
Points must be used on items specified in the Program reward redemption list. Points may only be used Online at the steelseries.com or with Partner sites listed in the reward redemption list.
Redemption of points towards purchases of products is subject to product availability. Any rewards discounts that are applied to the order, will be returned in its original point value to the Member account when completing a return. Any reward around discounts to items or $ OFF can only be applied to SteelSeries products or Partners specified on the rewards redemption list.
b. How to redeem your points
Beforeyou begin your check out, sign into your Member account. Select “Redeem Points” from the “Rewards” menu on your user dashboard. You will be issued a custom code on the Page and in your Email that you can copy and paste into the promotion code field in your cart during check out (Please note - only one code can be used). Your total payment amount will be discounted by the amount of points you allocate to the purchase or if you chose to redeem points for a product this item will appear in your basket at zero cost (note that Members will have to pay for shipping). Points may only be redeemed for the purchase price of the product. Shipping fees are the responsibility of the Member and points may not be used to discount these additional charges.
Only one account per natural person. Only one discount code can be redeemed per transaction. Rewards redemption codes may not be combined with any other discount codes. Points may not be transferred or gifted at this time. Points cannot be used on past purchases. Points accumulated on different accounts by different members may not be combined or aggregated to make purchases of products or for any other reason. Points earned in a transaction cannot be redeemed in the same transaction. Redeemed points cannot be retroactively applied to any past order exceeding 1 month prior to the date of a Member joining or receive a price adjustment on any order where redeemed points were not applied. Points have no cash value outside of the steelseries.com website or specified partner websites.
d. Point expiration and time lapse
All points acquired shall expire 365 days from the date the points are added to the Member’s account. Points expire 365 days from the date in which they were assigned to an account, regardless of point status (on hold, approved, etc.). For example, points earned on November 1, 2018 will expire at 12:01am CET December 1, 2019.

Order: points are added to a Member’s account when the order ships
SteelSeries Engine: points are added to a Member’s account the first time you log in to Engine after joining the Membership program.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the information herein is correct. The Company is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printed copies of these Terms and Conditions nor those published from time to time on its website.
Any waiver by the Company of the strict observance, performance or compliance by a Member with any of the Terms and Conditions contained herein, either expressly granted or by course of conduct, shall be effective only in the specific instance and shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any rights or remedies of the Company as a result of any other failure to observe, perform or comply with the Terms and Conditions. No delay or omission by the Company in exercising any right or remedy hereunder shall operate as waiver thereof or of any other right or remedy.
In the event that any provision in these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
b. Dispute resolution
SteelSeries may elect to resolve any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, the Program, the Explainer Page, the Program Website and any other Program Terms or claims relating thereto by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. The arbitration shall be conducted in Kansas City, Missouri, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Either you or we may seek any interim or preliminary relief from a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction in the state of Kansas, necessary to protect the rights or the property of you or SteelSeries (or its agents, suppliers, and subcontractors), pending the completion of arbitration.
In some countries special rules apply for the taxation of benefits within the framework of bonus programs. These rules are defined by the legislators and apply to bonus programs in general. Questions on this issue should be addressed to the national tax authorities. SteelSeries accepts no liability for the individual Member's tax obligations in connection with the Program.
d. Partner reward exception
If one of our business partners is declared bankrupt or is otherwise unable to fulfill its undertakings towards us or our SteelSquad members, retroactive claims cannot be made and we will determine how and if spent point on discount coupons or products are transferred back to your point balance.
